AT&T, China Telecom will expand their business cooperation both in China and the United States and further support each other in other regions, according to a November 30, 2011 report by Reuters. The two companies have teamed up since 2000 and formed a joint venture Shanghai Symphony Telecommunications. As per the agreement, AT&T and China Telecom plan to develop video conferencing and managed hosting services together, allowing AT&T to expand its services for business customers in China. Via using AT&T's networks in the United States, China Telecom is projected to enhance services to Asian customers in the country.
